lolol yeah. 8u it's a weird request/question/suggestion - whatever it will fall in the category of but, it bothers me a slight bit. I do understand why you would want to take out the 'location' part of the mini profile, no one really uses it but, it's a disturbing that you can't hide your gender.
It's just, my weirdness but, I don't like showing my gender when making characters, especially a guy, it's just a tad weird for me and for my character. I don't mind it on like, other characters and all. I am girl, everyone knows that I am playing a guy but yeah, I am a perfectionist unfortunately and I find that pink little icon ruining my manly's man's groove lol /shot.
But really to get to a more serious point, it's not just that, I know some people who doesn't like to tell their real gender? you know the internet, not everyone trusts it or not everyone wants to yell out their gender to the world. Yes you could always lie but, I just find it easily being able to hide that point.

Personally, when I make a new account I don't always put it as female; if I'm making a male character, I label the account as "male" to match. But I know that a lot of people don't do that... It is an option, though.
In terms of removing the "gender" line from the mini profile, that's up to Roo (and Sly, if he has an opinion). It doesn't really bother me, and I can't remember the last time I heard someone say they weren't comfortable about disclosing their gender, but I suppose it does happen from time to time. I'll leave myself out of this one even though I posted here first /shot and let the other staff decide.
