[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][cs=2] YOU'VE HAD YOUR TIME TO RUN AND HIDE
But you're out of time. 'Cause we're about ready to break. | [atrb=style, background: url(http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/1818/tablebgreddelis.png); width: 350px; border: 5px solid #000000,bTable][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] Can this be called to be like any other day? Hunting around for all those lost objects the other residents tend to lose so easily was just a bit more of a hassle, but as long as the payment was given, complaining won't be neccessary. But people requesting a search for such trivial thigs as a pen or a simple necklace was beyond Kei's understanding. Just like how was someone able to lose the pokeball of their own pokemon...
Kei was sitting at a table in the cafeteria, sipping his tea and having a simple breakfast of warmed sandwiches because he really didn't have the mood for any other thing as he arrived there, rather annoyed by the early wake-up call for a search. He was up since 4 am, and even now, three hours later he was debating to just simply go back and lay under his blankets in his room. The only problem being the roommates, who were probably getting up around now and would annoy him anyway, so going backk to sleep was more like impossible than needless. He had to go on a patrol soon enough anyway. His Lucario, Kou was sitting beside him on a chair, eating his own pokemon food for breakfast. The jackal-like pokemon acted pretty much like a human sometimes, eating sleeping and getting arond like a weird human child. Now as well he was sitting at the table like a kid eating his food... even trying to use a spoon to do so. Kei found is somewhat hilarious that his pokemon was acting so humanly at situations, but he never ever wished for him to do so. On the contrary. If Kou was ever to became a human, Kei would probably avoid him - just like most of the others.
The Lucario decided he doesn't want to bother with the spoon any longer so he instead used his paws to eat and finished half of the bowl within minutes. Kei as well was only drinking that cup of black tea to wake his slightly hazy mind up and get ready for his guard duties. He looked around the cafeteria for familiar faces, people who are among the guards just like himself, but didn't see any. There were only a few people sitting around at tables due to the relatively early hour. He sighed slightly that made Kou look up from his bowl and look at him questioningly. Kei just shook his head. "Nothing. Just keep eating, we will walk around the station in a few minutes." The Lucario nodded, as if undertanding and turned back to his breakfast. Kei leaned back in his chair and picked out his communication device, he couldn't really call a cell phone anymore. He checked the map of the station, wondering where to go first, seeing that all areas had guards for now. 'Maybe I'll just walk around. And later check in the communication center to see if anyone had search requests again.' Though he really hoped noone was stupid enough to lose their pokeball again. Dealing with worried owners were the worst thing ever.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][cs=2] SWEPT AWAY THROUGH THE CRACKS OF TIME
Even if you give me the words I'm at a loss for, my heart just won't pay attention. Is there a future for someone like me? | [atrb=style, background: url(http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/5315/colorblue133.jpg); width: 350px; border: 5px solid #000000,bTable][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] The sound and feeling of something vibrating against his hip stirred the white haired teen, his head turning against the wall as he groaned - irritated by the device that interrupted his slumber. Opening his eyes, he squinted to block out the lights that were so bright to his sleep-fuzzed vision and slowly moved to up on the back of his pokemon, leaning against his neck as the Salamence raised his head to look back at his partner. Shifting under him, the dragon growled, uncurling his tail from around his being, getting ready to leave at the command, knowing that the vibration generally meant that he had some sort of guard duty to do and, being as Akira never slept in his own dorm anyway due to his rather... 'special' dorm-mates, they often came to him as one of the first choices for guard duties, knowing that he would be there in a moments notice.
Slipping a hand into his pocket, he pulled out the device and flicked it on, the projection screen lighting up before him, making him groan once more at how bright it was, his eyes still sensitive. But it wasn't a call, simply a message informing him that his shift had been moved back - something that irritated him further and made himself growl. "... they woke me up for this? Great..." Sighing, Akira rolled over on the dragon's back to lay on his stomach, draping his arms over either side of Kuro's neck, resting his head against it. "I won't be able to go back to sleep now..." Giving the boy a sympathetic sound, he turned his head to nudge the boys own gently, making a few short noises that Akira guessed were suggestions of what they could do, which made him smile ever so slightly.
Kurosu was right though, there was no point to sitting around if they were awake, it was a waste of time. Pulling up his left hand, the one which gripped the strange device, he checked the time and scowled at it. "Dammit... it's so early..." he muttered with distaste, letting his arm fall as he debated what they could do when his stomach suddenly clenched, deciding for him. "... you hungry?" Aki asked his partner who seemed thrilled at the idea of getting something to eat - it had been awhile. Lifting both arms, he pushed against the dragon to sit on his back as the other stood, stretching his wings before pumping them a couple times to shake the sleep from the limbs. The cafeteria wasn't too far from where they were, the pokemon thought before pushing against the ground and spread his wings, deciding to fly there as much as he could.
His flight stopped in the hallway before the cafeteria, the width too small for his wingspan - making him land and fold them, making the rest of the trip on foot. Once inside the door, Akira shifted to pull himself to one side of the larger pokemon, sliding from his back to lead him further into the cafeteria where they could order. The first thing on Akira's mind, of course, was caffeine. Coffee, tea, energy drink - he didn't care what form it came in, he just wanted it. Placing the order for both him and his pokemon, he waited a few moments, gathering the money needed to pay before making the excange - walking away with a few sticks of dango and coffee, Kurosu carrying a handled bowl of food large enough to fill himself.
Upon turning around, his silver eyes spotted a familiar face... or hair at least, as the boy's back was turned to him, one that he was slightly surprised to find here at this hour. Though, there was something strange about the boy's mood... and it rose his curiosity. Taking one last look around, he took a deep breath before making his way over to Kei before walking around the table, setting his tray down before Kei's with a rare smile to be show to others placed on the corners of his lips, "Mind if we join you...?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][cs=2] YOU'VE HAD YOUR TIME TO RUN AND HIDE
But you're out of time. 'Cause we're about ready to break. | [atrb=style, background: url(http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/1818/tablebgreddelis.png); width: 350px; border: 5px solid #000000,bTable][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] He was staring at the projection screen for a few moments without any real motive or anything interesting showing up on it, letting his thoughts wander about. This place was always making him uneasy, and even though the rooms were somewhat spacious, it still didn't change the fact that this whole station was one closed up object for him. One that didn't let him go outside. Even thogh Kei himself didn't know anything how the life on Earth was, he just knew he would love to walk along the beach or under the real trees. It was all his fantasy, to see the Earth with his own eyes. And not only because the humans' return to the land of origin was such a vain hope.
With a sigh he put the closed device on the table in front of him, leaning back in the chair with closed eyes. He knew Kou was looking at him again to see what was wrong with him, but he also knew that the Lucario will just turn back to finish his food if he doesn't mind him for a few moments. The pokemon was quite understanding about Kei and he knew exactly how to act around him so not to make him annoyed, or calm him down if needed. Then again, Kou was the only "person" for Kei ever since his parents weren't around anymore. Or so Kei thought.
The sound of something being put on the table made Kei open his eyes and look up to see another person in front of him, someone who actually made Kei feel confused and unsure all the time. Akira, one of the part time guards whom Kei met at ocassions and could call a pleasurable acquaintance. That, because Kei refused to admit anything more. He looked up at the silver-haired male, almost missing the question in his surprise as he was staring into that smiling face. Catching himself he looked away, with a slight pink flush decorating his face. "...Do what you want." Stubbornly looking down at the table he continued with his tea, Kou blinking at the two guests from above his food. Of course, he knew Akira and his Salamance as well mostly due to work, and the pokemon also saw the changes in Kei's aura as soon as the other boy showed up each time. As much as Kei didn't appreciate the company of others, Kou knew that the boy still wished for it deep down, and so far Akira seemed to be the only one who wasn't discouraged by the boy's rude attitude. Much to Kei's confusion.
Kou's sensory ears moved a bit to pick up the aura of the others' and went back to eating the last bit of his food after a while. Kei just continued to stare at the table, glancing up once or twice at the other male trying to figure out why he sat with him, what bisuness he might have. But sadly, he was unsuccessful of figuring out such things. "So, what is it?" He asked, thinking that Akira has something to say or ask of him, otherwise he wouldn't have sit there just for company. Because then he should have been sat somewhere else.
