Lucia sat quietly in her chair, boredly going though various documents...reports, complaints, requests and the like. She was more or less filing them all in order from least to most important, and it was mind-numbingly tedious. Not that she wasn't willing to do such work, but even she had her limits. Pulling away from her desk, she leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes.
Meanwhile, her Carracosta, Gilgamesh, was off in the corner, doing his own thing. One good thing about him was that he was easily amused, so the boring days like this one never got to him. Though he was always at Lucia's side, he usually left her alone when she was busy, other bothering her if it was something important. Unfortunately for him, a craving for a spicy meat bun wasn't on that list.
However, his mild self-amusement would soon be interrupted by the sound of light snoring. Looking to see where it was coming from, his face displayed how unamused he was once he saw that it was Lucia, having dozed off at some point during her mini-break. Normally, he would've had no hesitation in slapping her awake, but he recognized that she had been working hard. As such, he decided to go easy on her this time.
Walking up to her, he reached his fin up and patted her arm with it. It was just enough to wake her up. Letting out a final snort as she snapped awake, she immediately saw Gilgamesh and went into defense mode "I-I wasn't asleep or anything, I swear!" The Carracosta let out a sigh and shook his head, then went back to his corner. Lucia let out a sigh and stood up, stretching a bit in an effort to get the sleepiness out of her system. "Ugh...this is the only thing I hate about this job..."
