I've looked into the heart of darkness[/color][/font]
The darkness creeps through to every corner of the world, both magical and muggle. The muggles know nothing of what kind of a war is looming, but they can feel it. The magical creatures of the world fear for their lives, for there has never been a reason to be so afraid. Never has the mere name of a wizard had so much of an effect, causing fear just from hearing the name. To others, it means the greatest power and respect.

At the heart of all of the darkness, a single force claimed full power. Lord Voldemort gathered followers quickly. The Death Eaters meet continually, though their identities are kept secret. They live lives full of lies to cover up their dark duties for their leader. They do every task that he asks of them whether out of admiration or fear of the incredible punishment that they will receive if they failed. Voldemort manages to keep hidden, like a silent killer among the world. How long will it be before he strikes? [/center]

Several wizarding families consider themselves neutral in the war. Perhaps they hope that by not joining a side they will not be affected by the war that slips under doors and cracks in the walls. They keep to their everyday lives, and some even cut off communications from everyone surrounding them out of fear. Whether they are afraid of being killed by Voldemort or afraid of having to fight against him, they find it better than being targeted.[/right]

A few of the braver wizards and witches put themselves at risk and formed a group to fight back. The Order of the Phoenix is small in number compared to the mass of Death Eaters, but their vision stays true, and they know that Voldemort had to be stopped. They meet in secret, trying to keep their lives as they silently rebel against the darkness. Still, it seems only a matter of time before they may be destroyed and forgotten. Their chances of success seems slim, but nothing has stopped them, yet.[/center]

The students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are not unaffected by the war. Rumored deaths and disappearances in The Daily Prophet strike fear in the students, as they hope each day that their families are safe. While Voldemort and his Death Eaters still unable to enter the castle, there were other questions and tensions building in the school. It seems that some students have already set themselves on their own paths, swaying towards the Death Eaters or the Order of the Phoenix. As they attempt to keep up with their normal lives, fear lingers, and darkness threatens to find its own way into Hogwarts.
