things were dying, the humans had destroyed most of the ozone layer. there were parts of the world where you couldn't live in because there was nothing to protect them. the humans and pokemon knew they had to leave. so for their immediate exit plan, they piled into the space station they had saved for emergencies, which was built back in the second decade of the century. true, many were left behind, but so many had diseases or had died from them, that they couldn't take everybody. they had tried to save as many healthy ones as they could, ending up with about five hundred people. it seemed few, but then again, only a few people could afford the hundred thousand dollars that was the fee. they landed there in about 2150 and before they knew it, pokemon were already in the rehabilitation center and humans occupied the dorms on area-eleven.

now fifty years later, everything seems fine, but many are still grieving of their loss of their planet, their home. even the captains are still somewhat fuzzy on how to control the place, using only a manual and what the minimal skills they had trained for.
