Not too sure on how this day was going to turn out, Olympia hadn't even let Manectric out. Though she felt badly, she knew it was the right decision. She needed to get him out, but whenever they had gone in the direction of the PokePark he would storm the around around them and bark at her, blocking the door to the park for her and the others. How embarrassed she would be! But today, she was determined to change that.
The card-activated metal door clicked open after the swipe of an ID with the name Olympia R. Leyva across the top. She walked in, there weren't many people here, but the skies were grey, so she wouldn't blame them. She was mostly here to get Manectric used to things, so it was almost the perfect day for it.
She let him out of the pokeball, almost wincing at his coming to knowledge expression. She knelt down to him, showing her face and smiling, letting Trekk know that she was happy here, nothing was wrong and he shouldn't be worried.

Out of all the places on the ship, this was no doubt Brooke's favorite place to be. An uncharacteristic smile graced her face as she strolled around idly with her companion, Star. The Mightyena seemed even more elated than her, if it was possible, to be padding along fresh grass and trees. Brooke could only guess that it reminded Star of his home all those years ago. Having been born on the ship, Brooke only had the faintest ideas of what their home planet might look like.
Letting out a sigh at the thought of their long lost home, Brooke turned her gaze towards the sky. It was so unique; the blue hues that changed over time to deep reds, pinks, and oranges, and then finally to black again. Was this how it really was back on Earth? She supposed she'd never know until she went there... if she went there. Brooke was hopeful, of course, but....
"Oh Star, I know you miss it," she sighed. "I miss it too and I haven't even seen it.... Was it weird for her to feel so much kinship with a place she'd never been? The smile that she'd been wearing vanished as Brooke slipped into a deep trance, thinking carefully about her own dilemma. Unfortunately, it was just her luck to stumble and fall right over a rock and onto Olympia. Squirming to her feet, Brooke brushed herself off quickly, and spurted out a few profanities before saying, "Fuck, I'm so sorry!"

He stared at Brooke, who was deep in trance. "MaaaNEcc!" Trying to use the cry the cry and pops of electrical current to wake her up, but now it was almost too late. Olympia had barely turned her head so she was now face down into the pseudo-earth and Brooke was on top of her, wriggling around and trying to stand up. When she finally had, Olympia was able to stand up and wipe herself rid of the dirt and grime. She turned towards Trekk, who was on his heels, ready to attack or run. What a great day to take him out here…
Patting down her frizzed hair, she turned to Brooke and put on her best smile, the one she usually did when providing a customer with attention. She held out her hand and introduced herself, “Hello, I’m Olympia! Aren’t you Bridgette..? Cause I think I remember treating Star here.” She smiled at the Mightyena and dropped her other hand for it to sniff, pushing her Manectric closer with her foot. “Oh, and don’t worry about what just happened here, it was just an accident. We all get in those sometimes!” She laughed and smiled at the girl she barely knew, almost as if they were friends. Olympia was sort of trained to do this because of her occupation, so it came naturally.

BAD COMPANY, TODAY I DIE [atrb=border,3,true][atrb=bordercolor,873d32,true][bg=c04536][atrb=width,435,true][atrb=height, 340,true][atrb=cellpadding,10,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]
Brooke blinked, surprised that this woman seemed to not be terribly fazed by her display of clumsiness right there. The same couldn't be said for her Manectric of course, who seemed about ready to blow a gasket. Star, who was trailing a ways back, picked up the tension immediately, and rushed to his Trainer's side, hackles raised, fur standing on end as he let out a warning growl. If the Electric type were to even shoot out one more little spark of static, he wouldn't hold back.
Meanwhile, Brooke accepted the handshake, though cringed at the butchering of her name. While she wasn't trying to come off as rude, the malice in her voice was obvious when she corrected Olympia, "It's Brooke... not... Bridgette..." she trailed off, her face contorting into a look of disgust. Of course, it vanished rather quickly, as instead a nervous smile made its way up onto her face. "But um, you can call me Rocky, if you want. Most people do."
She broke off the handshake after that, blinking down at the two Pokemon which seemed absolutely ready to duke it out. Smirking, Brooke silently hoped they would. She could use some good battle practice before going to work later tonight. She was a professional fighter, going into the rink to entertain and teach others about the art of Pokemon Battling. For that reason, most people seemed to recognize Star, as he was known for his superb skills on the field. She herself... well, that was a different story, considering Brooke wasn't much of a people person.
"Your Manectric seems a little uptight," she commented nonchalantly. "You might want to work off some of it's extra energy."

It gave Sueño an idea of what it was really like back on earth all those years ago though he did doubt from occasion if it was actually truly like that. Yet he didn't complain, even if it was a lie, it was still an enjoyable place to be even though it wasn't as bright as other times. "Why can't they just always leave it on the sun or moon instead of this kind of weather?" he wondered. The park always had a better atmosphere when the sky was a bright blue or a dark night, brightened by those lights in space, stars. Whenever there was a particularly pretty constellation in sight, he would always stop and take in the view.
Taking a deep breath, Sueño forgot all about working and jobs and living on the station, he was free of it all. Exhaling all those thoughts came flooding back. Ugh, work. The thing he hated most. Today supposedly he had to work although he wasn't exactly sure what as. He had two jobs, as a repairman and a part time cook, and Sueño wanted to do neither. It was such a hassle cooking and fixing things.
Not wanting to think about it anymore, Sueño took out a pokeball, clicking on a button as a flash of red light appeared, forming the appearance of a rather large bird. His Skarmory, Pajaro. Pajaro, the spanish word for bird, wasn't the most exciting of names but it just stuck with him since he was little.
"Come on Pajaro, you need to exercise or you're gonna get fat" Sueño stated bluntly. In reality his Skarmory was starting to get a little round around the edges, not like it cared though.
Sharply turning his head and glaring at Sueño, Pajaro stretched out his wings, seemingly as if ready to fly off before putting them down and sitting on the soft grass, almost instantly falling asleep. "Damn lazy bird..." Sueño mumbled, half his face twitching as a sweatdrop formed on the side of his face.
Looking around him, Sueño figured it was safer for him just to leave Pajaro sleeping there, that and Sueño just wasn't bothered enough. Walking off, his attention turned to two ladies who seemingly just randomly clashed into each other, causing them to stumble over in the near distance. Letting out a soft chuckle, Sueño made his way over to them. Well it would be rude if he saw that and didn't go to check if they were alright. "Are you ladies ok?" He called out once he eventually neared them.Tags :: Olympia & Brooke Word Count :: 448 Notes :: hope you don't mind me joining aswell, sorry its so long, i'll try to find a better, shorter template soon Credits :: Template by JAWN of AA, OTE, DMB and TC❧ ◢ | [atrb=style, height: 15px] | [atrb=style, background: #97836b; border-top: 1px dotted #72514a; color: 443628; padding: 2px 0px] So while we wait for this world to change, we might as well throw up our peace signs and wave them up in the air |
